Management Plan preparation commencing in 1999 and ongoing
Establishment of a long-term habitat and wildlife management framework to include vegetation cover restoration, soil erosion control, game species and number recommendations, habitat monitoring, bi-annual audits, expansion planning and alien invasive plant control. The reserve is a good example of what can be achieved on land that was formerly severely degraded through overgrazing and soil erosion and then later restored to become an award winning and economically viable business entity.
